Who is the Narrow-minded Bigot?
The following article appeared in the
Liverpool Daily Post with regards the death of the Roman Catholic
Cardinal Basil Hume:
"A Scottish Calvinist church has been accused of bigotry after its magazine claimed the late Cardinal Basil Hume's final destination could only be hell.The Free Presbyterian Church's magazine said the cardinal had lived and died in the errors of Rome.
Tory MP Ann Widdecombe, a prominent convert to Catholicism, said: "We can just dismiss this for the religious bigotry that it is.
Basil Hume, leader of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales, died in June. He was widely praised for helping bring together all faiths."
The Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland have looked into the subject of the Roman Catholic Church very carefully, studied it, and come to a conclusion (which you may or may not agree with).
Miss Widdecombe just spits vitreol, without ever having thought about the subject, and without the slightest intention of trying to understand the other party's position.
